I missed an opportunity to give you the run down on the Norfolk Marriott in Chesapeake, VA. I was a vendor at my first bridal show there yesterday. My intention was to get set up explore the hotel and let you in on all the details. However, that three hour prep time went by so fast it made my head swing. All I got a chance to see was the huge ball room we were in and the ladies room. Both places were up to Marriotts standard. I talked with some of the staff they were pleasant enough. Ooh ooh my booth was right next to the Marriott’s (in house) double sized booth. They served a variety of appetizers and they kept the champagne flowing for the attendees. I sampled one item (not the champagne) it was memorable.
I didn’t get any pictures of the Marriott but plenty of my booth, LOL. Let me know what you think. I really had a great time talking with some of the brides and others about their decorating ideas. It really gave me a good feeling to share with them in such a special way. I got a chance to meet quite a few vendors too. There is no shortage of event professionals in this area.
By the time 5pm rolled around, I was pooped and hungry. But all in all it was a great day.
Next week, I will be reporting on Grand Affairs in VA Beach. I am attending a class there for one solid week. It is the hands on part of my training to become a Certified Master Designer. Whoot Whoot!
Until next time
Holla at your girl.
