Seasons of WilliamsburgSeasons Change…

When the winter ice has melted and the birds come out to play Kendall and the staff at Seasons of Williamsburg is abuzz preparing for their annual Spring Open House. Friday, March 7 through March 8, 2014.

This lovely shop on Jamestown Road in Williamsburg, VA is one of my favorite shops to visit on holidays and of course at the change of each season. During these times I fully expect this place to be elegantly adorned with the latest in home décor trends. It is beautifully appointed enticing all of the senses which truly inspires my creativity. On my first visit, I was surprised to learn there are in-house floral designers. There is nothing like the look and smell of fresh flowers. Side note: Floral demonstrations are scheduled during the Spring Open House.

Moms leave the kids at home; it’s “me” time. Don’t expect to see shelves of items. No Seasons of Williamsburg is much classier than that. The atmosphere is inviting and serene. Items are arranged in little vignettes that tell a story, really enhancing the shopping experience. Be prepared to slow down, smell the candles, touch the offerings and carefully select your items. There is a wide selection of great quality merchandise at a reasonable price point.

The staff has always been courteous and helpful to me. No worry there is plenty of parking. Just know their open houses are very popular; there are plenty of cars, lots of people and James City finest to keep things running efficiently. So come early to get the selections of your choice.
I say, put Seasons of Williamsburg on your bucket list. The shopping experience is unhurried and delightful. You will find something unique to beautify your home or offer as a gift to someone special. I have my eyes on an outsized silver and glass trumpet vase that would make a beautiful centerpiece for a lucky bride.

I will see you at the Spring Open House.

Sincerely,

Zoe
